MemryX Inc., a leading provider of AI accelerators for edge devices, and Variscite, a global leader in System on Module (SoM) solutions, announced a strategic partnership that transforms edge AI capabilities. The collaboration combines MemryX’s advanced AI acceleration technology with Variscite’s proven SoMs to deliver enhanced performance and efficiency for industrial and edge computing applications.

MemryX, a technology start-up originating from the University of Michigan, has launched a $149 M.2 module [PDF] designed to provide efficient AI processing capabilities for compact computing systems. U-M Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) startup company MemryX has put a new product on the market, which promises to transform applications of artificial intelligence (AI) on everyday devices. Their MX3 Edge AI Accelerator allows users to process large amounts of data and run machine learning models on their local devices.

MemryX opened its developer hub this past week, following the general availability of the company’s MX3 edge-AI accelerator. The hub website provides documentation, tool downloads, examples, and other developer resources.
